Cancer Survivor photographer makes a new project: by Robbin Manuel

Prosper Project
Prosper Project’s first photo session

I was honored to do a photo shot with a cancer survivor.  My  skill is capturing your essence while helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I think for cancer patients and cancer survivors, having a portrait of themselves taken helps to represent their personal triumph and victory over this terrifying disease. It helps them reclaim their identity and feel powerful again. Through simple pictures, these cancer survivors  seem to gain some acceptance of what has happened to them and the strength to move forward with pride. By photographing each cancer patient in various states of their treatment and recovery, these portraits – expose more than their scars and baldness – It proves they are all  beautiful, challenging and powerful.  Today, I have decided to make a project called Prosper Project.  A project dedicated to making amazing portraits on cancer patients and cancer survivors.  I have worked out the details of this project, but a major portion will be toward cancer patients and survivors.  I think I know someone who could be my chair person and I am hoping she says yes to the project.

If you want you portraits taken during this stage of difficulty time, call me or email me.  I guarantee you will love your portraits.
