Looking for amazing head-shot for models?
Head-shots are a critical piece of many professional actors and actresses and models. An head-shot for models, actors, and other performance professionals will be the difference between acquiring the gig or not. Your clients can be no more excited than if they get a gig based on the power of their head-shot.
Follow these few tips to achieve the perfect head-shot.
1. Angles, angles, angles: Remember that for close up head-shots, angles will affect the outcome look and feel.
For women: its all about the eyes. Get a good nights sleep and apply fresh and soft shadows that will highlight the eyes in your head-shots.
For men, I like to emphasize strength. A strong jawline and positioning the subject to where I am shooting the tiniest way up, will give this feature for a head-shot for models.
2. The most important element is an expression to match the purpose of the head-shot. It’s my job as photographer to pull out the most natural looks from my clients. I do this by guiding them through complimenting conversation; asking serious questions to pull out a thoughtful gaze, or cracking a joke to capture a natural smile in a head-shot.
