With October just a few weeks away I just want to say, October is an amazing month. The season is full of change and excitement. The weather is different and everyone is getting ready for the up coming holidays. And while most think of the autumn colors of yellows, reds and oranges for this season, there is one more color that has been added to the color of the month. Pink! For me, October is all about the Pink. October is breast cancer awareness month. I dedicate this post to all women and men too, who have battled and won and for those who are currently battling breast cancer. Here are five of the many ways to think pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
1. Paint your fingernails pink
2. Wear pink earrings everyday this month
3. Wear pink socks every Friday
4. Give someone you know who’s battled or battling pink balloons one day this month as a complete surprise
5. Paint that Halloween pumpkin pink!
One of the things I plan on doing is going to our area’s Cancer treatment centers and asking if I can photography women who are battling or who have battled or may lose their battle. Thank you Peri for being one of the most inspirational women I know.

If you know of a woman who would like to be photographed who has breast cancer, please contact me at: (518) 852-3519
